Padel-TV, renowned for its coverage of Scandinavian padel tours, has expanded its global footprint by signing a three-year agreement with the Lawn Tennis Association (LTA) to exclusively broadcast and produce the British Padel Tour. This partnership includes the inaugural British National Padel Championships and four FIP-sanctioned tournaments (two Silver and two Bronze) in 2025.
Johannes Thomhave, CEO of Padel-TV, emphasized the strategic significance of collaborating with the LTA: "England’s padel scene is booming, backed by a robust tennis legacy. Partnering with the LTA—organizers of Wimbledon—ensures institutional credibility and resources to elevate padel in a competitive sports market. This isn’t just a deal; it’s a long-term commitment to grow the sport."
Enhanced Broadcast Experience
Padel-TV will deploy its signature "WPT angle"—a camera setup standard in Premier Padel events—for dynamic match coverage. Complemented by player-tracking cameras, net cams, and instant replays, broadcasts will feature studio analysis, expert commentary, and professional graphics. "Quality is non-negotiable. Our subscribers expect premium content, and we’re delivering just that," Thomhave stated.
Global Subscription Model
The platform has transitioned to a unified subscription model, offering access to all events worldwide, including Scandinavian tours, FIP tournaments, and the British Tour. A free trial is currently available to attract new audiences.
Live Scoring & Debut Event
Padel-TV’s first UK production will debut at the FIP Silver tournament in Bristol (April 9–13), featuring live scoring across all 12 courts. Thomhave praised organizers R3 for their ambition: "Real-time data on every court enhances fan engagement—a milestone for British padel."
